Seeking a polished, corporate aesthetic rather than an outdoorsy or lifestyle-focused design? In addition to owning Human Nature Studios, I have extensive experience working with corporate clients and within brand systems. I have created logos, digital advertisements, white papers, case studies, and more for companies such as Schaefer City Technologies, Avalie Trial Technologies, Exela Technologies, and The Alternative Board.

I created Schafer City Technologies' branding from scratch - including the nuclear symbol, color palette, and typography choices. The client wanted a brand identity that would bring a breath of fresh air to the stale insurance and legal industries, while still maintaining professionalism and cohesion.

The Sunrise and Charcoal colors are indicative of the smoke and fire associated with nuclear explosion, and the sky blue color is a nod to the mitigation of these issues. I chose the color palette below as it allows the brand to maintain a clean and professional look while also giving it a bright and positive association.

SCHAEFER CITY TECHNOLOGIES

Avalie provides courtroom technology support, ensuring seamless access to trial documents, videos, and graphics. The team manages trial presentation databases, prepares real-time materials, and oversees virtual trial technology. A Tyson & Mendes Company, Avalie returned to Human Nature Studios for a subsequent project, Schaefer City Technologies.

Avalie, meaning “the one who has strength” in Persian and German, reflects the company’s mission to empower clients in the courtroom. The logo design embodies this strength, reinforcing Avalie’s impact through visual symbolism.

AVALIE TRIAL TECHNOLOGIES

Exela Technologies is a global leader in B2B process automation. They help businesses automate their processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
Their solutions are used by a wide range of customers, including Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and healthcare organizations. I worked for Exela Technologies full-time from September 2019 to July 2020 as a Design Specialist + Creative Lead.

EXELA TECHNOLOGIES

At Exela, my key project was developing a Pitch Deck and PowerPoint template that aligned with their new brand identity—a powerful, imagery-driven, and on-brand set of slides that would enhance client-facing sales and marketing presentation.. I then adapted the template into 10+ industry-specific versions, including the Life Sciences template shown below.

I developed the display ads below for an A/B test as part of a creative campaign for Exela's Real-Time Payments platform. I created the campaign concept, copy, and design for each advertisement. Targeting banking and financial executives in California (primarily male), I considered what they’d rather be doing than managing transaction workflows and waiting for payments to clear—enjoying good food, surfing, or golfing. This led to four lighthearted, payment-themed taglines. The result: a set of engaging and effective digital ads that outperformed previous campaigns significantly.

I created several landing pages for the exela.com website using Leadpages. These pages were the landing URLs for several display ad and social media campaigns. Each page successfully conformed to brand standards and utilized successful conversion tactics (photos of product in action, clear and compelling copy, social proof, free offerings for email capture, etc).

I designed versatile templates in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word for key sales and marketing materials, including case studies and white papers. These templates needed to be both visually compelling and highly functional, allowing sales, marketing, and other departments to easily customize and complete them. As essential tools for client communications, they ensured brand consistency while streamlining the creation of high-impact print and digital materials.

The Alternative Board (TAB) is a global organization that provides peer advisory boards, business coaching, and strategic planning services to small and mid-sized business owners. Members of TAB join confidential peer advisory groups where they can share challenges, receive advice, and gain insights from fellow business leaders. TAB also offers executive coaching and business tools to help entrepreneurs improve decision-making, streamline operations, and grow their businesses.

THE ALTERNATIVE BOARD

I designed templates in Adobe InDesign and Canva for a LinkedIn ad campaign focused on Awareness and Lead Generation for TAB.

The awareness campaign aimed to expand TAB’s brand recognition by highlighting its core benefits: Peer-to-Peer Support & Collaboration, Expert Business Coaching, and Improved Work-Life Balance. For lead generation, we targeted an audience already engaged with higher-funnel content, requiring more direct, action-driven messaging. I crafted compelling CTAs to drive content downloads and sign-ups, pairing them with relatable imagery featuring real TAB members to enhance authenticity and engagement.

I designed several print layouts for TAB, including a complete reimagining of their New Member Kit—an essential resource that equips new members with the information they need to succeed. My role extended beyond design; I strategically organized content to improve readability, engagement, and usability. By refining the layout, structure, and visual hierarchy, I ensured the kit was both visually compelling and highly functional, enhancing the onboarding experience.
